When and where ECOTROPHELIA NEXT FOOD GENERATION will take place?

The ECOTROPHELIA NEXT FOOD GENERATION will take place at the Congress Centre North, at Anuga 2019, at Koelnmesse (Cologne), from 5th to 9th October 2019.

If my project/start-up is selected, when will I be exhibiting in the ECOTROPHELIA NEXT FOOD GENERATION space?

After the disclosure of the selected projects and start-ups, the Organisation will distribute the participants by day, taking into account namely the sector of activity, the compliance with the trends and themes for the prospective space and stated preference. However, every participant should guarantee his availability from the first day to the last day of the trade fair.

If I have developed a food product, can I throw a tasting?

No, product tastings are not allowed in the ECOTROPHELIA NEXT FOOD GENERATION space. However, you can display a prototype of your product to show the visitors. If in doubt, use the "Contact" tab on the platform to contact the Organisation or contact directly contact-nfg@ecotrophelia.org .

If I have developed an equipment, can I showcase a prototype?

As ECOTROPHELIA NEXT FOOD GENERATION aims to bring visibility to projects and start-ups that provide innovative solutions for the food sector and inspire tomorrow’s food consumption, prototypes are very welcomed. However, there will be a limited exhibition space for each startup. The details regarding the exhibition stand will be send by the Organisation in due time. If in doubt, use the "Contact" tab on the platform to contact the Organizing Committee or contact directly contact-nfg@ecotrophelia.org.

If my project or start-up is selected, will I have any financial aid to cover my expenses?

For the selected projects/start-ups, the benefits of participating in the ECOTROPHELIA NEXT FOOD GENERATION have an estimated amount of 10 000€ (in-kind), and include: a showcase stand; visibility in an trade fair reaching around 165 000 visitors and 7 405 exhibitors; an invitations package with badges for the project/start-up as exhibitor and its prospective clients/investors; a pitch in a dedicated stage; a night for one person in a Hostel near the exhibition centre; and a communication package that includes the project/start-up’s information on Anuga’s communication tools. Beyond these, the Organisation will not cover any expenses the person/people representing the project/start-up may have to be present at the trade fair.

Regarding the pith, what language can I speak in?

You must make the pitch in English so that most visitors can understand it.
