The ECOTROPHELIA NEXT FOOD GENERATION will take place at SIAL Paris 2020, at Parc des Expositions Paris Nord Villepinte (Paris), from 18th to 22th October 2020.

If my project is selected, when will I be exhibiting in the ECOTROPHELIA NEXT FOOD GENERATION space?

After the disclosure of the selected projects, the Organisation will distribute the participants by day, taking into account namely the sector of activity, the compliance with the trends and themes for the prospective space and stated preference. However, every participant should guarantee his/her availability from the first to the last day of the trade fair.

If I have developed a food product, can I throw a tasting?
-
Yes, product tastings are allowed in the ECOTROPHELIA NEXT FOOD GENERATION space. The Participants take full responsibility for the product tasting in the space. If in doubt, use the "Contact" tab on the platform to contact the Organisation or contact directly contact-nfg@ecotrophelia.org .

If I have developed an equipment, can I showcase a prototype?

As ECOTROPHELIA NEXT FOOD GENERATION aims to bring visibility to projects that provide innovative solutions for the food sector and inspire tomorrow’s food consumption, prototypes are very welcomed. However, there will be a limited exhibition space for each project. The details regarding the exhibition stand will be send by the Organisation in due time. If in doubt, use the "Contact" tab on the platform to contact the Organizing Committee or contact directly contact-nfg@ecotrophelia.org.

If my project is selected, will I have any financial aid to cover my expenses?

For the selected projects, the benefits of participating in the ECOTROPHELIA NEXT FOOD GENERATION include: a showcase stand; visibility in an trade fair reaching around 310 000 visitors and 7 200 exhibitors; an invitations package with badges for the project as exhibitor and its prospective clients/investors; a pitch in a dedicated stage; a lunch box; and a communication package that includes the project’s information on SIAL’s communication tools. Beyond these, the Organisation will not cover any expenses the person/people representing the project may have to be present at the trade fair.

Regarding the pith, what language can I speak in?

You must make the pitch in English so that most visitors can understand it.
